FYI’s Juvenile Assessment and Reporting Center (JARC) works with youth and families to help figure out what underlying challenges a youth is facing that might lead to, or have already led to, patterns of negative behavior and/or risky behaviors. The service uses proven evidence-based practices to assess strengths and risks and provides recommendations and referrals to available community resources and support systems. The purpose is to link the youth and family to the most appropriate programs and services available in our community that specialize in addressing different needs and challenges. The JARC aims to divert youth from the formal juvenile justice system.
